Social Media Intern

We are an online beauty, fashion & lifestyle platform looking for a social media whizz to join our growing team. With our content focussed on fashion, beauty and lifestyle, the ideal candidate for this role needs to have keen interest in these areas. This is an unpaid role however, you will often receive compensation for outstanding performance on the platforms and can be retained eventually as a permanent staff (based on performance). Soo if you are passionate about social media and dream about re-tweeting, liking or sharing then we want to hear from you!

 

What you’ll be up to:

Creation: You’ll be on the frontline of our content strategies, creating and posting content on all of our social media platforms. You’ll have a strong understanding of current trends in the social media sphere and the world of celebrity, with a very strong sense of aesthetics and style.

Exposure: Working together with the team to ensure maximum exposure, reach and engagement on all the social media platforms.

Collaboration: Working with the team to create new and interesting social media friendly content in order to maximize reach on all platform.

Engagement: Replying to any engagement with clients / vendors across all social media pages.

 

What are we looking for:

Applicants should be university students, NYSC members or recent graduates.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Ability to professionally engage with clients / vendors online while representing the brand.

Experience with a variety of social media platforms, photo editing and video editing tools.

Ability to offer content suggestions and ideas when appropriate, likewise tracking social media performance.

Must have an excellent eye for great pictures and a strong sense of aesthetic.

Dedication, adherence to deadlines and effective time management.
